The Indian River, Ponce Inlet, Port Canaveral and Mosquito Lagoon are the number one place in New Smyrna Beach, Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, Titusville and Sebastian Inlet for inshore backcountry flats and sight fishing. Light tackle saltwater fly fishing and spin fishing at its very best for some of the most sought after sport fish in the world. Targeting tarpon, redfish, black drum, snook and spotted Florida seatrout. It is also the closest inland saltwater shallow flats fishing near Orlando and all of east central Florida. Also offering Manatee and Dolphin Tours.
Inshore fishing charters consist of a year round fishery on the beautiful waters of the Canaveral National Seashore Park and the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. A charter that allows you the ability to cast to fish right in sight of you, in shallow, crystal clear water. Hence the term sight fishing. This is the the redfish capital of the world. The number one place to catch fish year round.
Nearshore beach fishing trips are seasonal and are mostly done in the warmer months of March through December. Targeted species include cobia, tarpon, big jacks, bull redfish, sharks, triple tail and snapper.
All charters are for one, two and at times five anglers. We use two boats, a micro skiff and a bay boat. Please ask for details on this. Includes "ALL" licenses, permits and tackle along with fresh bottled water. If you have more than five anglers going I can arrange a multiple boat charter with other captains whom I work closely with and trust. This is perfect large groups, families or corporate parties.

All fishing & birding trips include premium professional light tackle equipment from Shimano Reels, St. Croix Rods, Yamaha Outboards, Pathfinder Boats, Yeti coolers, Canon Cameras, D.O.A. Fishing Lures and Ross Fly Reels. I also use a private launch site for the access to the backcountry waters of the Canaveral National Seashore Park and the wildlife refuge. I am a full time Orlando area fishing guide that resides in Oak Hill year round. So if you are looking for an Orlando Flats Fishing Trip than then this is it!
All state licenses and federal access park permits are supplied as well. I am fully insured and carry all of the legal business permits required. All of the charters inside the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and national park are all catch and release only. All of the fish caught on these waters must be released since this is a wildlife refuge. At times fish may be kept, but please be sure to ask about this before booking a charter as to most the areas we fish are 100% catch and release only. Some of the beach trips allow for a few fish to be harvested at the captains discretion.
We supply cold bottled water, a Yeti Cooler full of ice, professional Canon cameras and Canon HD video gear. You will need a pair of polarized sunglasses with a copper, brown or amber lens. I suggest Costa Del Mar's. Also you will want a hat, sunscreen and any snacks for the day.
The wildlife refuge in Titusville is world known to be one of the best places on the earth for birding and bird watching. To date they estimate roughly around 358 species have been positively identified on the refuge. The cooler months typically from October through May offer the best birding opportunities. Some of the common birds and waterfowl you will encounter are Roseate Spoonbills, Bald Eagles, Mottled Ducks, Pelicans, Reddish Egrets, several species of Herons, Osprey, Rails, Cranes and so much more.
With myself being a professional Photographer and a fishing guide that knows these waters, along with having private access to the wildlife refuge, makes for one the best bird watching experiences you will ever have. Birding from a flats boat is by far the best way to get close to their habitat for spectacular photos and video.
