Light Tackle Saltwater Flats Fishing Cocoa Beach Florida
Besides being the redfish capital of the world and offering some of the best inshore flats, saltwater fly fishing and sight fishing in central Florida, the Mosquito Lagoon, Banana River, Port Canaveral and the Canaveral National Seashore are home to some of the most beautiful beaches, landscape scenery, wildlife and birding opportunities there is.

The north Indian River Lagoon system is located in the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge here in east central Florida near Titusville, Palm Bay, Melbourne and Cocoa Beach. It is not only here the flats fishing is at its apex, but the wildlife and scenery is beyond imagination.
Expect to see numerous birds, mammals, outstanding landscapes, wildlife and epic scenery along with the great backcountry saltwater fishing while here.
